Departing Vero this AM around 7, we just punched through the known approaching cold front and rain. Peak winds reached 31 knots 20 degrees off the port bow as we headed north crossing Sebastian Inlet on the ICW inside. Now we are on the north side of the front with 10-15 NW winds and the sky is looking less threatening. We may continue past Melbourne and press on for Cocoa Beach.
We are getting our skills back after getting “soft” in Vero!
More to follow….
